AS I mentioned in Kat's blog, I witnessed something like that once, in my parish. The ordinaries were in Latin and after the organist played the into to the Gloria from the Missa de Angelis, the priest sang his part, in tune, but in English! LOL! It totally threw the choir off...
The assistant priest told me that Father was horrified and asked him whether the whole Mass was going to be in Latin as he did not know the language =)
LOL!! I have to admit...it did give me a chuckle.
