It's been a while since I've treated you to pictures from Rome so I thought today would be a good to post more. Today they come from the interior of the Basilica of Saint Peter:
Just inside the main entrance looking down the nave toward the sanctuary.
Looking across the main aisle.
Here have the famed statue of Saint Peter, the confessio and the papal altar.
I think this shot gives some indication to the size of the Basilica.
Looking up into the magnificent dome designed by Michelangelo.
