Reader Victoria asked if I might lighten the tedious process of commenting here on the blog and perhaps allow anonymous comments.
In the hopes of engendering more dialogue on these pages, I have done so, but comment moderation remains in force.
If comments turn ugly, the former measures will be reinstated.

I have had personal experience with school officials deliberately hushing up events like having a teenage boy pull down his pants in front of me and making sexual comments. Yes, there needs to be a wide, sweeping inquiry.
