Proponents of the repeal of the United State's military policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell say that if it is repealed that no one - soldier, chaplain or civilian - will have to change their religious beliefs.
But the question they are not asking concerns the exercise of the free expression of religion if a repeal is made.
