A humorous (and touching) sign

After Mass this morning the parishioner who changes the marquee sign outside the church told me she was going to change the sign. This was nothing uncommon, as she does a fine job of keeping the community posted on local happenings.

But this she added a few words, saying, "But you can't change it."
Naturally, this peaked my interest, but I told her I wouldn't look until she was finished.
After finishing a bit of work inside the office, I stepped outside to see what the sign read. When I saw it, I had a big laugh:

I approve. When Father House arrives, perhaps the sign will read, "Aloha, Makua," makua being Hawaiian for Father. They called Father Damien, "Makua Kamiano."
