Three sayings on marriage

Monsignor Charles Pope recently noted three things about marriage:

  1. Some want their marriage to be ideal and if there's any ordeal they want a new deal.
  2. Honey, if you ever leave me, I'm going with you.
  3. Marriage makes two people one. The trouble comes in determining which one.

    Love it!
    You know, Dan and I made a commitment almost 12 years ago at the altar of God . . . after only knowing each other 4 months (he knew at one month and asked and I said "okay"). It's been bumpy, but ya gotta have a sense of humour and be willing to be the supporter when needed. Great read.
