It was a year ago today that we buried our friend, Coach K, who collapsed toward the end of soccer practice six days earlier.
I worked with him as his "assistant coach" for the St. Anthony soccer team for only a short time, but he has left a lasting imprint on my life and I still think of him often. He was, truly, a good man, and I regret very much not having known him better.
