An interesting question and a good one, maybe

Yesterday in class, one of my sophomore students posed this interesting question:

If you could walk on water could you swim?
I'm not sure. Any thoughts?

    I suppose to see the beauty of the coral reefs?

    Yes, but if the water is clear enough, you would be able to see the reefs from the surface.
