I am very happy to say that around one hundred people participated in the festivities this evening.This was, apparently, the first time such festivities were celebrated in the parish to mark its patronal feast. Learning this made me even happier about planting the seed for the celebrations.
It also was a fine way to mark my twenty-ninth birthday.
