In his defense, it would make me uncomfortable to describe a nation as "Christian" or "Muslim" or "Jewish" or anything like that- look at all of the bloodshed that occurs when people label themselves that way.
ReplyDelete(Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Palestine, Serbia, Croatia, etc).
But maybe that's the 5 1/2 of public, liberal arts education seeping out of me.
