Afternoon at the movies

The Afternoon at the Movies was a good success. Some fifty people came out, of all walks of life and all ages, to watch Padre Pio: Miracle Man.

As the intermission started, one of the attendees asked me, "When's the next one, Father?" "We're working on it," I replied.

When all is said and done, I think we'll have raised about $350.00 for our Dead Theologians Society.

    The Gospel of John is another good movie to show to a group. We showed this in my parish and it was very well received.

    Another good movie night was when we showed "The Passion" on Good Friday night. Wow, what a moving experience it was to see it on that day.

    By the way, I'm the poster formerly known as Maxiemom. I just had to change my name when I registered with google.
