In honor of Archbishop George J. Lucas, I wish to invite all parishioners in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois to a farewell reception on Thursday, July 16, 2009.
The reception will be at Christ the King Parish, 1930 Barberry Drive , Springfield , Illinois .
We will have evening prayer at 6:30 p.m. in the Church and the reception following from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the parish hall.
