In light of President Bush’s intentions to deploy an additional 20,000 U.S. troops to Iraq, perhaps Mr. Bush should reflect upon the Holy Father’s words of last week:
The Holy See will never tire of reiterating that armed solutions achieve nothing, as we saw in Lebanon last summer.
