The United States Senate is soon expected to vote on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act [about which I have previously posted] (H.R. 36).
It is medically certain that unborn children can feel pain at twenty weeks after conception. This legislation would make abortions after the twentieth week of pregnancy, when the unborn children can feel pain, illegal.
Legislation of this kind is supported by more than 80% of the American people, regardless of political affiliation.
The House of Representatives approved this legislation on 13 May 2015. Please urge your senators to approve H.R. 36 and to oppose any amendments that might weaken the act. Do so now. Do not wait. Do not forget.
