It's going to be a long six months

It's 7:46 a.m. The clouds are gone. The telephone has yet to ring. The sun continues to rise. And it's 30.2 degrees outside.

I keep telling myself:

I love winter.

I love winter.

I love winter.

I love winter.

I love winter.
But it isn't working. I'm not ready for this.

Is there a patron saint for unseasonably warm temperatures for a good length of time?

I suppose if I do this properly, by the time Spring finally does arrive, there might not be many souls left in Purgatory...

On a happier note, later this morning I'll bless my first R.V. before some parishioners head off tomorrow to warmer weather for a time.
