One of the great things about Facebook is stumbling about news articles shared by friends.
This morning I found a story of good news: a Canadian couple won $11.3 million (Canadian) dollars in July and has already given almost all of it away. They've kept about 2% of their winnings in case they should need it.
Why, you ask? "What you've never had, you never miss," said the 78 year-old winner, Violet Large. Her husband, Allen, is simply happy because, "We have each other."
Truly, a wise couple.
If that story doesn't lift your heart a little, I don't know what will.
