I have also been to Manoppello. Oct. 15, 2012 Standing in back of the relic, I saw His wounded Face and kneeling... Oh! Who can describe what is experienced! You have done it so well. Yes, eyes of Love. I saw His Face, without wounds, "as though in a mirror" and was aware of two things: Mercy and unsurpassing PEACE. On March 4th (Shrove Tuesday) my Parish here in Louisiana will be celebrating The Feast of The Holy Face with Adoration, prayers of reparation and Benediction. Please, never stop speaking about His Holy Face in Manoppello, Though the devil is actively trying to transform humanity into his own twisted image, God's gaze is infinitely more active and powerful. We have only to look at Him with love; in the Eucharist, in His images and in our neighbor and He will transform us into His image. As our Popes wrote in Lumen Fidei: "All of us with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image." 2 Cor 3:18. It is a light reflected from one face to another, even as Moses himself bore a reflection of God's glory after having spoken with him: "God... Has shone in our hearts to give light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Cor 4:6. <br />May the Lord bless and keep you, may He make His Face shine upon you and be merciful to you. May the Lord turn His Face towards you and grant you His PEACE!Pathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15398786640680427908noreply@blogger.com
