Writing in the National Catholic Register, Jennifer Fulwiler has written an excellent editorial titled, "Why the Scandals Increased My Faith in the Church."
Take a few minutes now and read it. Of particular importance is the section where she speaks of getting the facts straight.
Those who criticize me because of my insistence in demanding fair and honest media coverage and for insisting they cover similar scandals in other organizations about which we know would do well to read her words.
