When I arrived this morning at the Metro station at 6:45 it was very obvious that the station was not yet open. Given that my train for New York was at 7:30, this did not bode well. Hence, I missed my train and will catch the next one that leaves at 10:20. It's very frustrating!
There were no signs anywhere indicating that that Metro station would not open until 7:00. This caught quite a few of us by surprise this morning.
As I sit and wait I'll watch the Holy Father celebrate Mass in St. Patrick's Cathedral.
